Community Living

Skyline Center enhances life experiences by assisting people with disabilities to live independently by providing services customized to meet their needs.

Skyline works with each person individually to help them determine how they want to live their lives. There are those who need support in their homes a few hours a week and those who need up to 24 hours daily. Services are focused on skill building to increase independence, such as meal planning and preparation, shopping, budgeting and in some cases, bathing, and grooming.

Skyline is committed to breaking down barriers in order to build community involvement and awareness of each citizen's value.  Community Living services are one way Skyline assists individuals with disabilities to gain access to their community.

Limited housing is available in both apartment and waiver home settings.

A Representative Payee program is available for those unable to manage their Social Security benefits on their own.
